In normal times, in addition to the lecture programme, the society arranges trips to exhibitions and collections both in the UK and abroad.

In recent years we have visited the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, Bolton Museum, with its spectacular full-size replica of the tomb of Thutmose III, and the superb Tutankhamun Exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery.

We have travelled to see the major Egyptian collections in Leiden, Munich and Budapest.

Once we are no longer constrained by Covid-19 restrictions, we hope to venture forth again and details of future events will be posted here.
